MANILA -- More than 50 years after The Beatles' controversial visit to Manila, John Lennon's son, Julian, and former president Ferdinand Marcos' daughter, Aimee, have finally met.
The younger Lennon was in the Philippines in late March.
The two met at a dinner hosted for Lennon, where Marcos was one of the guests, according to a Philippine Daily Inquirer report.
Marcos posted a photo of her and Lennon on Instagram last week.
"The kids did good," she wrote in her caption.
In another post, she said she and Lennon had made amends.
