MANILA – Filipino artists are showcasing their masterpieces at Artexpo New York, known as the world’s largest fine art show.

Sal Ponce Enrile was picked by the internationally acclaimed Agora Gallery New York to become one of their featured artists in the expo, which kicked off on April 4 and will run until April 7.

Her four other paintings inspired by expressionism are also displayed in this year’s Artexpo New York, which is hosting more than 35,000 art enthusiasts and qualified trade buyers.

“I think every artist’s dream is to be able to ultimately show their work in New York. After all, the careers of many of the top well-known contemporary artists all began in New York City. Hence, I am truly grateful that I got this opportunity early on in my nascent career as an artist. I am humbled by this great honor as a Filipina to have my work displayed at the Artexpo,” the Filipina artist said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Manila-based art house The Artologist has also sent four Filipino contemporary artists to Artexpo New York – Monnar Baldemor, Fernando Antimano, Adam Nacianceno, and Richard Buxani.
