MANILA – The 2019 Forbes “30 Under 30 Asia” list is out, and it includes four entrepreneurs from the Philippines.
This year’s list of young game-changers in various industries represents 23 countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region.
Among the Filipinos recognized were the co-founders of CUBO Modular, Earl Patrick Forlales and Zahra Halabisaz Zanjani. Their company is known for designing and constructing bamboo houses in just four hours.
Also part of the list is Georgianna Carlos, founder of the premium pet care brand Fetch! Naturals. With two retail locations in Manila and Los Angeles, the 28-year-old’s company is known for using only natural ingredients for its products.
Completing this year’s batch of Filipino achievers is 29-year-old Ken Costales, founder and CEO of the performance marketing firm Monolith Growth Ventures. Founded in 2016, the company now has offices in Manila and Singapore and serves global brands such as Fitness First, The Boston Consulting Group, Sonos, and Klipsch.
The four Filipinos join the likes of K-pop girl group Blackpink, Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka, the co-founders of India’s delivery app DailyNinja, and the people behind the Indonesian micro-retail startup Warung Pintar.
The list of honorees under 30 years old was chosen from more than 2,000 submissions from across the region.
