MANILA – Vickie Rushton is once again setting her sights on the Miss Universe Philippines crown.

The former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate is set to compete once again in Binibining Pilipinas, which sends representatives to Miss Universe and other international pageants.

Rushton’s friends and fans have been sharing messages of support on Instagram Stories over the weekend, and the beauty queen made the confirmation by re-posting these on her account.

Bb. Pilipinas concluded its search for 2019 candidates last March 15. Just like last year, six crowns will be up for grabs in the national pageant, which will be held in June.

A Mutya ng Pilipinas 2011 titleholder, Rushton first joined Bb. Pilipinas in 2018. She was unable to win a crown, but she finished first runner-up.

Her Bb. Pilipinas batchmate, Catriona Gray, won the Philippines’ fourth Miss Universe crown.
