MANILA -- Sarah Lahbati had to forego her grand wedding over the weekend for a more intimate civil ceremony amid the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.

But even if things did not go according to plan, the actress made sure to tie the knot in style.

She called designer to the stars Mark Bumgarner, who was able to create Lahbati's civil wedding dress in a day.

Bumgarner made the revelation in an interview with Metro.Style, saying he redesigned a piece from his recent collection to fit Lahbati's bridal aesthetic.

"Mark mentions that it's so easy to dress up Sarah because she looks gorgeous in everything," the article read.

"That's why when Sarah called Mark a day before her civil wedding day, he immediately knew that he had the perfect dress for her."

Lahbati and Gutierrez got engaged in 2017. They have two sons.
