MANILA – Heart Evangelista continues to cement her status as a style icon as she is now the creative director of the homegrown fashion brand Kamiseta.

The actress and painter made the announcement on Instagram over the weekend.

“You all know that Kamiseta is a brand close to my heart. I had the best time collaborating with them for LM x Kamiseta last year,” she said.

“Well, today, I have a huge announcement – I am going to be Kamiseta’s creative director! I’m so overjoyed to be part of this family.”

Kamiseta, for its part, considers Evangelista as a “perfect fit” for the role.

“Working with her in the past has truly been such a dream for us! She truly encapsulates what the brand is all about, and we can’t imagine anyone being a perfect fit as she is for the role,” it said in an Instagram post.

Along with her revelation, Evangelista also launched her second collection for Kamiseta which features her paintings on apparel, accessories, and home items.
