MANILA – Three hotels in the Philippines received a 5-star rating from Forbes Travel Guide this year.

On its website, Forbes Travel Guide said it evaluates luxury properties across the globe “based on up to 900 objective standards,” using a scoring system “with a proprietary algorithm that weighs service at 75 percent and the facility quality at 25 percent.”
