MANILA -- Janice Cadiao is no stranger to stories of teenage pregnancies.

She herself is a third generation teenage mom to her young daughter, “Ana” (not her real name). But when she found out 15-year-old “Ana” was pregnant, it was as if she was reliving her own struggles.

At 32, Janice became a grandmother. The birth of her granddaughter changed everything, but not her plans for “Ana.”

Fearing that her daughter is treading the very path that made their life challenging, she pushes “Ana” to continue her schooling, despite the stigma she is likely to experience sooner or later.
