MANILA -- Miss Universe Germany Johanna Acs will give the castle headpiece she used during the national costume competition to a school in Manila.
"It's just a good gesture because the Philippines has treated us and me so nice so I just wanna say thank you and leave a small part of Germany here in the Philippines," Acs said.
Interior designer Sol Albar received the headpiece from Acs and said she intends to have it exhibited at the University of Santo Tomas' College of Fine Arts and Design where she is an alumna.
"As interior designers, we appreciate art and beauty," Sol Albar said.
UST officials have yet to confirm if they will officially receive Acs' gift through Albar.
Acs's 2-kilogram headpiece was worn along with a white gown and a story book prop that represented castle landmarks and fairytales in Germany.
