MANILA – No need to fly to Cebu as lechon store Zubuchon will soon open a branch here in Manila.

“Yes, the rumors are true. We will be opening in Manila soon!” Zubuchon said on its Facebook page on Tuesday.

The first branch of Zubuchon in Metro Manila will be located at Yakal corner Talisay Street at San Antonio, Makati, according to food app Booky.

Zubuchon rose to fame after chef and TV host Anthony Bourdain called it the “best pig ever” in his defunct food and travel show, “No Reservations.”

Owned by Joel Binamira, Zubuchon is known for serving lechon prepared using homegrown organic ingredients.
