MANILA – Reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach along with some candidates of this year's pageant went around Baguio City on Wednesday aboard floral floats like the ones seen during the annual Panagbenga festival.

Twenty-four candidates graced three floral floats representing Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, while the fourth one was made particularly for Wurtzbach.

The parade, which was open to the public, started at the iconic Session Road and ended at the Baguio Country Club.

Among the candidates who participated in the parade delegates from Australia, Miss Universe Colombia, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Albania, Aruba, Barbados, France, Guam, Haiti, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Korea, Kosovo, Malta, Mauritius, New Zealand, Norway, Slovenia, South Africa, Sweden and US Virgin Islands.

Aside from the parade, the other activities lined up for the ladies include tree planting, strawberry picking, an arts and culture exhibit and a gala dinner.
