MANILA - Comedian Russell Peters is coming to the Philippines this March as part of his Deported World Tour.

His show will be held at the Philippine International Convention Center’s Plenary Hall on March 10.

Tickets are priced at P8,190, P7,135, P6,080, P3,970, and P2,910, and will go on sale at 10 a.m. on January 8 via SM Tickets.

“I love getting to know my audience. It’s a collaboration between us,” Peters said. “I’ve been building the new act in clubs across the States over the past year and I’m very happy with it.”

The Deported World Tour will also feature one of David Letterman’s favorite comics, the legendary raconteur of weird stories, comedian Jake Johannsen.

Peters last toured Asia in 2015 and 2016 to sold out houses.

He makes his comeback to live touring after taking time off stage since the filming of his last special, “Almost Famous,” for Netflix in 2016.

In between, he’s produced and starred in his own comedy-drama limited series for Netflix, “The Indian Detective.”

Peters is also part of the still unreleased films “The Clapper” with Ed Helms, Amanda Seyfried, and Tracy Morgan, “Supercon” with Ryan Kwanten and John Malkovich, and “Public Schooled” with Judy Greer.
