MANILA (UPDATED AS OF 5:50 PM) - The partial and unofficial results of the 2016 national elections are now out, just minutes after the elections closed in some of the polling precincts.

As of 5:50 p.m. May 9, 2016, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of the PDP-Laban is leading among the five presidential candidates with 1,426,291 votes.

The results are sourced from the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Transparency Server.

The numbers reflect 6.59% of the registered voters in the country.

Duterte is followed by Senator Grace Poe with 826,291, then Liberal Party (LP) standard bearer Mar Roxas with a close 816,699.

Opposition candidate Vice President Jejomar Binay came in fourth with 501,304 votes. Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago is fifth with 163,782.

Roy Señeres, who died three months before the polls, has 2,093 votes.

In the vice presidential race, Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos is leading with 1,389,971 votes, followed by Roxas' running mate, Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo, with 1,207,975.

Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, the running mate of Duterte, is third with 496,630. Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero is not far behind with 417,711.

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV and Senator Gringo Honasan have so far only 71,047 and 61,427 votes, respectively.
