HOLLYWOOD - As a kid, Gabe de Guzman first learned how to dance by copying "Ocho-ocho" dance moves while watching ABS-CBN shows on TFC. Now, he's dancing his way to Hollywood stardom.

At the recent Radio Disney Music Awards, the Fil-Am dancer had the time of his life dancing with Hype Squad, the show's official dance crew.

The Fil-Am talent is one of the most in-demand young dancers in Hollywood these days.

"Sometimes, I get really nervous because of all the people that are watching me perform but I just have to remember to have a good time onstage, don't worry about it or else I'll look really stressed," he said.

This month, de Guzman and his partner Kaycee Rice will be on The Ellen Show as the first winners of its 'tWitch & Allison's Dance Challenge' - the popular show's first web series.

"Both me and my partner Kaycee, we thought we'll be powerful if we audition together so sent in our best video. It was really hard because we didn't know all the challenges we were going to face. But we luckily survived through it with a lot of hard work," he said.

He also appears regularly on the "Dance On" YouTube channel where he's part of the group that makes new dance songs popular through music videos.

De Guzman was one of the dancers who popularized the "Whip and Nae-nae" dance craze when it first came out.

With a sizable following online, the 15-year old dancer enjoys communicating with fans.

On his way to a thriving career in Hollywood, de Guzman had to overcome some challenges, like enduring asthma attacks while on tour and being bullied in school for his dancing.

But those setbacks just made him stronger.

His Filipino parents, Florence and Edgar, make sure that he has a support group wherever he goes.

He recently toured with Justin Bieber on his "Purpose" world tour.

Apart from dancing, de Guzman also acts in commercials and just booked a high-profile national campaign.
