MANILA — OPM singer Maki on Wendesday revealed the release date for his much-anticipated single "Namumula".

In a post on TikTok, Maki revealed that he will be releasing the song on August 30.

"RED FLAG ENJOYERS ITS YOUR TIME TO SHINE!!!! NAMUMULA OUT ON AUGUST 30, 2024!!!" he said in the caption.

The news came after Tarsier Records confirmed that his hit single "Dilaw" has tallied 100 streams on the online streaming platform Spotify.

"From the renowned pioneers of OPM and to all new Filipino musicians who are thriving, blooming, at nagtutulungan paangat. Thank you. I’m glad that we get to help each other thru music and for music," he said.

"All for the future of OPM. it is truly an honor to celebrate this milestone alongside so many great artists I look up to."

He has yet to reveal it a music video will also be released with the single on the same date.

Maki rose to fame with his hit single "Saan?" enumerating popular places where he could bring a person on a date.

He will be holding his solo concert at the New Frontier Theater on November 29.
