MANILA — ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs and iWantTFC's "BINI Chapter 1: Born to Win" docu-series will start to air this September 26.

A teaser video on the Nations Girl Group's meteoric rise from their earliest days to their triumphant first solo concert has been uploaded by iWantTFC on their YouTube channel.

"BINI Chapter 1: Born to Win" features exclusive, never-before-seen footage that will see the BINI members reflect on their four-year journey from their auditions, their grueling training, the struggle for fame and success — and their stunning rise to superstardom in the past months.

"BINI Chapter 1: Born to Win" is the first of a three-part documentary series from director Jet Leyco (Gawad Urian and FAMAS award-winner, Taiwan International Documentary Film Festival Jury Prize for "For My Alien Friend," Fantasia International Film Festival Jury Prize for "Matangtubig," Jeonju Film Festival Jury Prize for "Ex Press") and journalist Jeff Canoy (Palanca award-winner, Cannes Gold Dolphin for Documentary, 2018 New York Festivals Gold World Medal for Documentary, 2021 New York Festivals Bronze World Medal for Documentary).

"This is the first chapter in a trilogy that celebrates the Nation's Girl Group and how their sisterhood has guided their journey in the music scene," Leyco said. "We're excited to share the story of triumph and dreams and how the girls persevered through struggles."

"Jet and I have done many documentaries together and we're excited to share the story of these amazing and talented women, individually and as a singular musical force. Personally, I got into this business to witness history — and what is happening to BINI is 'herstory' unfolding," added Canoy.
