"Ang dream ko ever since was something like 'GAME KNB?' Na-enjoy ko, I was a fan nung si Kris (Aquino) pa lang ang nagho-host. It was my dad who hosted. And I think it's about time na ang Pilipinas ay gumawa ng isang show na tayo naman ang hinahabol na i-franchise," Manzano said.

"So eto iba talaga. Plus the format. It 's not simple na 'Minute To Win' or mga singing contest na nakikita natin. Naghahanap talaga tayo nito.

"We're all on the same boat na wishing matuloy, pero may mga bagay na kailangang unahin ng ABS-CBN. Lahat kami para kaming ano 'yung nangyari dati sa 'It's Showtime' na parang break in case of emergency. I would like to think na ganoon pa rin ang 'It's Your Lucky Day' family na kung saka-sakali man ay may slot na para sa amin. Kapag sinabi na 'Oy, It's Your Lucky Day' lahat kami gagawa at gagawa ng paraan para matuloy ang show kasi marami ring napasaya ang show na 'yon," Manzano said.

... Ngayon it's more of pwedeng tingnan natin. Pwede na," said Manzano.

Manzano is no stranger to politics. Both his parents have experience in public office. His mother, screen icon Vilma Santos, just served as Lipa representative; while his father, actor-host Edu Manzano, was formerly Makati vice mayor.
