Child star of ABS-CBN's upcoming series 'Saving Grace' revealed

MANILA --  Zia Grace is the newest child star of ABS-CBN who will be part of the upcoming series "Saving Grace," the Philippine adaptation of the hit Japanese drama "Mother." 

This was revealed by show producer Dreamscape Entertainment on Wednesday.

In the series, Zia Grace will be portraying the title character of Grace.

"Saving Grace" revolves around "a struggling teacher who impulsively abducts a young student who suffers from abuse from her own mother. The risky journey becomes complicated as it turns into a national manhunt for the child."

On Tuesday, it was revealed that Sharon Cuneta, Sam Milby, Jennica Garcia, Christian Bables and Janice de Belen will be joining actress Julia Montes in the much-anticipated series. "Saving Grace" also marks the return of Montes and Cuneta to primetime television. 

The series "Saving Grace" is presented by ABS-CBN Studios and Nippon TV, Japan's leading entertainment powerhouse.

"Mother" achieved global success as Asia's most exported scripted format with adaptations in Turkey, South Korea, Ukraine, Thailand, China, France, Spain, Mongalia and Saudi Arabia.

"Saving Grace" will start its production soon and is set to air next year.
