Screenshot from video on Company Soosoo's YouTube channelKorean singer Doh Kyung-soo returned to the music scene on Tuesday with his third extended play (EP) "Blossom," which marks his first album since he moved to a new management company.

"Blossom" contains six tracks, including lead single "Mars" and the pre-release track "Popcorn" that was unveiled last April 30.

In the video for "Mars," Kyung-soo — also known as D.O of the K-pop boy group EXO — attempts to send a message to an apparent extraterrestrial being from a field.

"Blossom" is Kyung-soo's third EP and his first new record since leaving his longtime agency SM Entertainment and joining Company Soosoo, which was established by his former manager at SM.

Following this release, Kyung-soo will embark on an Asian tour, titled "Bloom," beginning with a show in Seoul in June. The tour is scheduled to make a stop in Manila on August 31.

In 2012, Kyung-soo began his career in entertainment as a member of EXO, known for hit songs like "Growl" and "Love Shot." He debuted as a soloist in 2021 with the EP "Empathy."

Apart from his music activities, Kyung-soo has starred in several TV dramas such as "It's Okay, That's Love," "100 Days My Prince" and "Bad Prosecutor" as well as films like "My Annoying Brother," "Along with the Gods" and "The Moon."
