Nearly four years later, it appears that the seven-piece act has achieved that goal. In 2023, for instance, their releases "Dark Blood" and "Orange Blood" ranked among the 20 best-selling albums worldwide, each selling over a million copies.

"Since our debut, we always wanted to go overseas and be loved globally," Jake said on Monday during a press conference for the group's fan meeting in Manila, organized by local fashion brand Bench.

In the Philippines, the group has built a solid fan base, managing to fill the Mall of Asia Arena for three consecutive nights during their "Manifesto" tour in 2023. This was followed by a packed one-night show at the New Clark Stadium for their "Fate" tour last February.

"Here in the Philippines, we see a lot of our fans sing along with our song and every time we hear that, we feel like we’re very blessed and very happy," Jake said.

The fan meeting, happening on Tuesday at the Mall of Asia Arena, marks ENHYPEN's second visit to the country this year.

Jake said one of the things the group looks forward to when visiting the Philippines is the energy from their local fans.

"I feel like whenever we come here, the energy is incredible... whenever we perform they always give out the best energy too," he said.

Due to their frequent visits to the Philippines, the vampiric K-pop stars, known for singles like "Bite Me" and "Sweet Venom," have developed a fondness for some of the country's delicacies.

Despite having experienced the passionate concert crowd and tasted the local food multiple times, the ENHYPEN members — which also include Jay, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon and Ni-ki — have yet to enjoy a vacation in the country, renowned for its beautiful beaches.
But given the opportunity, the members would like to visit Cebu and Boracay, and try jet skiing in those famed destinations, Sunghoon said.

For now, the boys are still preoccupied with their "Fate Plus" tour, the encore leg of their "Fate" tour, while also preparing new music.

Without giving away too much, Jake hinted that the group's upcoming songs will showcase a "new style" and aspect that people "haven't seen" before from ENHYPEN.
