Rookie K-pop group UNIS performed P-pop girl group BINI’s hit song “Pantropiko”.

In a video posted on 1theK Originals’ YouTube channel on Friday night, UNIS members Gehlee, Elisia and Seowon performed “Pantropiko” for the channel’s “World Wide Cover”.

The girls also performed Karol G and Tiesto’s “Contigo”, Beyonce’s “Texas Hold ‘Em”, Noa’s “Any Angle” and PLAVE’s “Way 4 Luv”.

UNIS, which includes Filipino members Elisia Parmisano and Gehlee Dangca, debuted late last month with “Superwoman”.

The eight-member group, which also includes Filipino-Korean Jin Hyeonju (who previously debuted as Belle in the K-pop girl group cignature); Koreans members Yunha,  Seowon and Yoona; and Japanese members Nana and Kotoko, was formed through the reality competition series “Universe Ticket”.

Composed of Mikha, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Jhoanna and Sheena, BINI debuted in 2021 with the single "Born to Win."

They are also known for their singles such as "Na, Na, Na," "Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi," "Lagi," among others.

BINI first released "Pantropiko" last November. They returned last month with their extended play "Talaarawan" which includes “Pantropiko” and “Salamin, Salamin”.
