MANILA -- Filipino indie folk band Ben & Ben marked another milestone in their career as a band. 

They finally watched the stage musical of Star Cinema's 2007 box-office hit "One More Chance" that brought their songs on the theater stage.

"Saan ba kami magsisimula," the band said on social media post on Saturday. 

"Kagabi, nanood kami ng One More Chance The Musical featuring our songs. To say that it was a dream come true is an understatement. Bilang banda, ang pangarap namin ay marinig ng maraming tao ang mga kanta namin at matugtog ‘to sa iba’t ibang entablado. Pero yung marinig at mapanood namin yung mga kanta namin na kantahin at ganapin, sa isang theatre musical is beyond our wildest dreams. Tapos sa One More Chance pa, na peborit din namin." 

The band also gave credit to the performance of actors and actresses who have a new flavor to movie characters Popoy and Basha. 

"Grabe ‘tong play na ‘to. Ang daming emosyon yung pinadama samin at ang dami naming iyak… hahaha Dami pa naming gustong sabihin pero i-pprocess muna namin," the band said. 

As they hear their music on stage, the band also thanked the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) for mounting a stage musical adaptation that featured their music.

"Thank you, Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA). Thank you for magically weaving in our songs with a story that’s close to our hearts. For bringing our music to a new dimension — giving it new colors and new flavors. To the cast, you owned our songs like it was the story of your lives and we were blown away by your performance. To the people behind the scenes, the directors, writers, designers and staff — ang gagaling! Sobrang swak ng bawat element nung storya from props to lighting to visuals to wardrobe at yung mga punchline! Ang huhusay! And of course, thank you to all of you who listen to our music and you who make our songs a part of your journey."
