MANILA (2nd UPDATE) -- Jaclyn Jose's youngest child, Gwen Guck, has arrived in Manila to bid farewell to his mother, the late veteran.

Diego Cerrudo and his father, singer Bo Cerrudo, picked up Guck at the airport on Saturday morning.

In a heartfelt message for Jose during PPL Entertainment tribute night, Bo shared that Guck, who is best friends with his son, is staying with them.

Diego and Guck, who both went to Ateneo, were bandmates in high school.

"Gwen is my best friend and practically his older brother. We're that close po," Diego, who is a batch ahead of Guck, said in a text message.

"We are waiting for Gwen to comeback to Philippines for good for him to join the band again," he added.

The bereaved family of Jose opted to keep the last night of her wake as well as the inurnment on Sunday  private to relatives and close friends.

"You left behind a legacy of love, artistry, and inspiration. We will make sure @andieigengirl and her family are surrounded by that warmth. Rest easy now, Jane," Michael de Mesa said in an instagram post.

Also seen at the final night of Jose's wake was Jake Ejercito, the father of Andi Eigenmann's  first born, Ellie.

Jose passed away on the morning of March 2 due to a myocardial infarction.
