P-pop girl group BINI still can't believe the overwhelming love and support they have received over the past few months, as their monthly listeners on a streaming platform broke the one million mark.

In a recent interview, they shared that it felt like it was a joke because their monthly listeners on Spotify took a big leap from the start of 2024 until now.

"Parang joke. Baka na-scam lang kami ng Blooms namin, kasi Blooms namin delusional," BINI's youngest member Sheena said in jest.

"Pero kasi nga we started this year with a hundred thousand monthly listenersm tapos in just two months, nasa 1.4 [million] na kami. Sobrang laki nito, that's why it just feels so unbelievable," Sheena added.

When asked what they think happened with their sudden rise in listeners, Sheena credited their song "Pantropiko" as the single that helped them rise in popularity.

"Pinakanakatulong sa amin 'yung 'Pantropiko.' Grabe 'yung pag-boom niya sa lahat ng social medias namin. And nasakto na nag-release kami ng bago naming EP (Talaarawan). Nadamay na rin 'yung 'Salamin Salamin' sa pagdami ng streams kaya nag-jump siya," Sheena said.

Stacey, the group's lead rapper and dancer, said it felt like all of their hard work since they debuted as a group finally started to pay off.

"Looking back po sa mga hard times naming BINI, na parang wala na kaming pag-asa sa life, wala na kaming pag-asa sa career namin — dahil may time po na gano'n kami. Pero ngayon, sobrang grabe 'yung binibigay ni Lord sa amin, ng Blooms sa amin, ng mga tao sa amin. Super duper grateful po kami," Stacey said.

The group's leader, Jhoanna, added that even though they don't get much rest nowadays, it's still worth it since the blessings that they receive are continuously pouring and that they continue to do their best because they don't want it to end.

On accepting the Billboard Philippines' Women in Music Rising Star Award, the group's eldest member Aiah said they feel honored to be given such an award since they are still a young group.

"It's truly a big honor po, especially for us na we're still starting. Billboard Philippines is a big name — it's a big award so we really accept it with full honor and pride. Hindi lang ito for us but its also for the people who believe in us and invested so much effort in us. 'Yung management namin, 'yung Bloms, and everybody else who contributed to it," Aiah said.

Meanwhile, the members also teased their preparations for their upcoming first solo concert on June 28, 2024.

"We are already starting the choreographies for our songs and, hopefully, you guys watch and abangan niyo kasi ang daming surprises dyan sa performances that are unexpected," BINI's main rapper, lead dancer and visual Mikha said.

"Syempre habang nagha-handa kami for our concert, ang dami rin naming mga shows and guesting so abangan niyo dahil iikutin namin ang Pilipinas bago kami makapagconcert so sana suportahan niyo po ang mga shows namin all around the Philippines," lead vocal and lead rapper Jhoanna said.
