MANILA — Ben&Ben expects more visibility for OPM noting how Filipino artists have been given the spotlight in concerts of visiting foreign artists.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Ben&Ben pointed out their special performance in British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran's concert in Manila over the weekend.

"'Yung organizers 'yung nagsabi na we're invited to be a part of the show... Of course when we expressed our interest, there was a lot of back and forth with evaluating the technical and the logistics," Paolo Benjamin said in the sidelines of the press preview of PETA's upcoming musical "One More Chance," which features the band's music.

"Sa dami rin naman ng dreams na gusto naming mangyari na hindi natupad, minsan parang ito 'yung testament na sometimes mayroon mga magagandang bagay na meant for you and embracing this blessing as one of those, we just wanna give our best," he added.

Miguel Benjamin also noted the performances of Lola Amour and Dilaw during Coldplay's concert at the Philippine Arena in January.

"I think it's such a great phenomenon like it's happening because a lot Filipino artists are passionate, not just in music but those in film, those in theater, about what we have to offer to the rest of the world," Miguel said.

"To be given opportunities such as this is such an honor and that's why we're not gonna miss an opportunity and we will do our best," he added.

Miguel is hopeful that more opportunities will be given to OPM artists and our music.

"Sobrang happy namin 'pag nakikita naming nangyayari 'yun sa Coldplay, tumugtog 'yung Lola Amour, sobrang astig nun kasi it gives visibility to what we have to offer as Filipino artists so I wish to see more of that happening," he said.
