Filipina drag queen Taylor Sheesh continues to get the attention of the international audience after being interviewed on the Australian talk show "Today".

"Behind the makeup and the dance moves is Mac Coronel, a long time Filipino Swiftie, who performs as drag persona Taylor Sheesh," the report said following her concert in Federation Square in Melbourne.

"With the Philippines missing out on a visit from one of the biggest artist in the world, 'The Eras Tour' for many Swifties this is the closest they'll get to the real thing. Sheesh is taking to the stage to fill the void and taking TikTok by storm," it added.

Asked about her experience performing overseas, Sheesh said: "Last night, we didn't expect that we will have a massive crowd ... the Aussie Swifties are insane and wild, they gave the 100,000 of energy from the start to the finish of our show."

She also shared to the Australian audience how she came up with her gig to impersonate Taylor Swift.

"I've been a Swiftie since 2009 and I'm also a drag queen so I tried to impersonate her and it works and it went viral. Actually, we didn't expect that we will went on viral after our recreation of 'The Eras Tour' right now, we're forever grateful with what's happening right now and it's always a thanks to my fans and to my fellow Swifties," Sheesh said.

"I want to express my talent in an artful way ... right now Swifties are the best fan base for me, I really want to relate to them as a fellow Swifties" she added.

While she has yet to know Swift's thoughts about her, Sheesh promised that she will continue to support the artist.

"I haven't received any from her team yet but we're hoping that she likes what we're doing ... I watched her for the first time when I was in Tokyo, Japan, so this week I'm watching her Melbourne last show here for 'The Eras Tour'," she said.

"We will still continue to celebrate and support her just like what she's doing right now, she's releasing a brand new album. We could still make like a mall tour event for free, for my fellow Swifties. We will always thank her and I will always support because she changed my life."

Sheesh went viral on social media after impersonating Swift with her dance moves during a fan concert in a mall in Quezon City, with her clips getting noticed by international media outfits.

She earlier said that she hopes to bring her now-viral "Eras Tour" performance to other places in the Philippines.
