The release date for the record, titled "Drip," was revealed late Monday through a post on the seven-member group's social media accounts.

In a separate post, the group also dropped the track list, indicating that the album would contain nine songs, including the lead single of the same title.

The album also includes "Forever," which the group released in July, and a remix of previous single "Batter Up," based on the track list.

In a video posted on label YG Entertainment's official YouTube channel, executive producer Yang Hyun-suk said two songs will be teased "only up to the first verse" each week in the run-up to the album's release.

Yang described the single "Drip" as "the most passionate and the most danceable music among all [of Babymonster's] music."

"I don't think anyone could resist not dancing to this song," he said.

Notably, "Drip" credits BIGBANG's G-Dragon as one of its composers.

Yang also noted that a music video for the song "Clik Clak" will be released days prior to the album.

In the same video, Yang announced that Babymonster is preparing to go on a world tour.

"I want to kick that off next year. That's also why we're releasing this full album," he said.

Composed of Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita, Babymonster is the latest girl group from YG Entertainment, which also houses powerhouse female acts like 2NE1 and Blackpink.

The group originally debuted with six members in November 2023 with the single "Batter Up." In April 2024, they re-debuted with the extended play "BABYMONS7ER" after Ahyeon joined the lineup.
