(UPDATE) Babymonster has returned with the digital single "Forever," which serves as a pre-release single for the fast-rising K-pop girl group's upcoming first full-length album. 

The seven-member act unveiled late Sunday the music video for "Forever," showing the girls enjoying glamorous lifestyles. It features scenes of them checking into a luxurious hotel with numerous shopping bags and participating in a photoshoot. 

On its website, label YG Entertainment described "Forever" as a track that reinterprets the synth-pop genre in the record company's "unique style." 

"The song carries a hopeful message, suggesting that BABYMONSTER’s future is bright and everlasting," YG said.

As of writing on Monday noon, the video has amassed 8.6 million views. 

"Forever" will be included in Babymonster's upcoming full album, which is expected to drop in September or October. 

Last April, the group made its official debut with the extended play "BABYMONS7ER," which spawned the single "Sheesh" and fan-favorite "Like That."

Composed of Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora and Chiquita, Babymonster is YG's first girl group following the commercially successful Blackpink.
