Filipina drag queen Saki Yew had to end her "RuPaul's Drag Race" journey early due to a knee injury.

In the second episode aired Friday, Saki was with the queens preparing for the ball challenge when she entered the "Werk Room" in crutches.

Saki revealed that she hurt her knee while in the bathroom and decided to bid farewell to recover.

"I hurt my knee quite bad, so it hurts to walk. I was getting into the shower, I slipped and knocked my knee onto the wall. There's a lot of swelling. No walking, no running, no dancing and definitely, no heels," Saki said.

"I am actually going to say goodbye to you all. I'm gutted 'cause it's not the way I wanted to leave but I have to be smart about this and really just look after my body," she added.

While saying her last words, the drag queen turned emotional but stressed how she wanted to focus on her health.

"This is my decision. I want to repair and heal. It was short but it was amazing to be in season 6 with these sisters," she said.

After leaving, fellow Filipina queen Zahirah Zapanta expressed how heartbreaking it was for Saki to leave the competition.

"It's just so heartbreaking and I'm going to miss my Filipino sister so much," she said.

Saki and Zahirah are the first queens of Filipino descent in the UK franchise of the hit reality show "RuPaul's Drag Race."

In the country, Precious Paula Nicole and Captivating Katkat are the titleholders of "Drag Race Philippines," winning in 2022 and 2023, respectively.

The Emmy Award-winning original series has featured the talents of Filipino drag queens in the US and several overseas in editions through the years.
