MANILA -- Vhong Navarro, Ion Perez, Darren Espanto, and Amy Perez or Team V.I.D.A. gave a dark but meaningful performance which encourages everyone to do good before it's too late for Magpasikat Week on "It's Showtime," which is now celebrating its 15th year.

Aside from valuing time with our loved ones, the performance is also a wake-up call to give attention and give equal love to all members of the family. 

On Wednesday's episode of ABS-CBN's noontime show,  Team V.I.D.A. opened their performance with a short story about accidents endangering lives of people. 

Navarro gave a dark powerful dance performance, Amy Perez also delivered an interpretative dance, while Ion Perez did aerial stunts.  

For his first "Magpasikat Week," Espanto performed a dance number using a big metal ring. He also performed the song "Sasagipin Kita."

"For 15 years lahat ginawa na natin sa Magpasikat gusto ko lang may maiba, mayroon tayong bagong ihahain na mayroong dark. Pero ang mensahe nito eh simple lang siguro gumawa tayo ng kabutihan sa tao. Kasi kapag sinasbing oras mo na, hindi mo alam kung kailan. So kailan ka gagawa ng kabutihan kapag oras mo na ba? Dapat bago pa. Kaya 'yun ang simpleng mensahe para sa aming Magpasikat," Navarro said.

"I am so proud sa team namin kasi maganda 'yung gusto naming iparating na mensahe -- sa magulang na alam natin na minsan nakakalimutan natin makita na mayroon pala tayong anak na nagsasakripisyo rin kagaya natin. Ito ay paalala na ma-appreciate natin ang mga anak natin at magulang din na mayroong anak na kayang magsakripisyo para sa buong pamilya. At pantay-pantay ang pagmamahal na ibinibigay ng magulang lalo na ng nanay sa mga anak. Pero minsan may anak na maaring may pangangailangan siya. So siya  ang napagbibintangan na favorite. Pero sa mata ng magulang pantay 'yon. Pero mas alam lang niya sa puso niya na 'yung isang anak niya ay may kailangan na suporta, atensiyon, pagmamahal, may it be financial or emotional mayroong ganoong anak. At mayroon ding matatag na anak at matapang na kayang magsakripisyo para sa buong pamilya nila," Amy Perez said.

"Para  rin ito sa mga anak na nagpupursige para maging maligaya at maging proud sa kanila 'yung mga magulang nila. Kasi siyempre hindi man namin sabihin added pressure pa rin 'yon palagi," said Espanto, who composed  "Sasagipin Kita" with the help of his mother.

"Saka ito normal na nangyayari sa pamilya na may paborito talaga kaya minsan nakakalimutan natin na may anak pa pala tayong iba na kailkangan din ng attention. So sana iparamdam din natin sa kanila na kaibilang sila sa pamilya," Ion Perez added.

Joining their performance was Raul Dillo, with the special participation of "TV Patrol" reporter Ganiel Krishnan.

The team of Vice Ganda, Karylle and Ryan Bang kicked off the week-long celebration with their performance about hope on Monday. This was followed by the team of Ogie Alcasid, Kim Chiu, MC and Lassy's performance which remind viewers to keep calm.

The judges for this year's Magpasikat are filmmaker Rory Quintos, Kapamilya actor Donny Pangilinan, GMA-7 actress Gabbi Garcia, actress Alice Dixson, and former ABS-CBN president Freddie Garcia.

Viewers and netizens also expressed their love and support as the topic Team VIDA trended on microblogging site X on Wednesday.

Anne Curtis, Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpuz are set to perform on Thursday.

Last year, the team of Jhong Hilario with Amy Perez and Chiu won Magpasikat.

"It's Showtime" airs every 12 noon on A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, GMA, GTV, ABS-CBN Entertainment's YouTube channel and Facebook page, iWantTFC, TFC, and GMA Pinoy TV.  The program's online show “Showtime Online U” is also available on It's Showtime's YouTube channel.
