MANILA  -- Actress Gretchen Barretto captured the attention of netizens with her beautiful snaps on social media.

In posts shared by celebrity hairstylist and make-up artist Mark Qua and Aris Manal on Instagram, the 54-year-old actress wowed the netizens with her youthful looks.

"So nice to see you again La Greta," Manal wrote in the caption.

Aside from the beautiful snaps, the two stylists shared reels of Barretto who seemed to be preparing for a photo shoot.

In the comment section, celebrities were also amazed by Barretto's latest snaps including Heart Evangelista, Bea Alonzo, and Anne Curtis.

Earlier this year, the actress revealed in a vlog the reason why she has decided to take a long break from social media and focus more on her personal life.

"There's more peace because I don't have to keep on checking on Instagram what's this person doing, and what's going on. I am more productive, I can do things that are more important to me rather than what's important to show," she said.

The actress also believes that social media is not the gauge of her relevance in the entertainment industry.

"I am relevant. With social media or not. It's not something that you can just erase because you don't have social media. In fact, I believe I am more relevant because people don't know where I am and what I am doing," she explained.

"I am in a different world now, I can let go. You have to let go of what does not serve you anymore," the actress added.
