MANILA -- Veteran actress Nora Aunor revealed on Monday night that she hates being impersonated by comedians.

The multi-awarded superstar said on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" that she is irritated when impersonators exaggerate her gestures.

"Naiinis ako. Iyon ang totoo kasi puwede naman nilang gayahin ako. Okay lang 'yon eh para makapagpatawa sila. Pero kung sobrahan nila, hindi naman ako ganun," she said.

Aunor's impersonators include Ate Gay and Teri Onor, who is now a politician in Bataan. Both of them gained popularity because of their hilarious impersonation of the superstar.

Meanwhile, when asked if she is still eyeing the title "National Artist," the 8-time Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Best Actress said: "Hindi. Ang sa akin naman, mas marami pang mga artista, mga tao na mas kinakailangang bigyan ng ganyang award."

In 2014, Aunor was dropped by former President Benigno Aquino III from the list of National Artists to be proclaimed. This, because she was once convicted for using illegal drugs.
