He wasn't having the best of Novembers, having his passport and other personal documents stolen while he was sleeping in his flight back to Manila last week.

But at least Daniel Matsunaga is ending the month on a high after he received a sweet tribute from his girlfriend, Polish national Karolina Pisarek, who flew in for his birthday Tuesday.

"Do you know that every second and every minute I think about you, all my prayers and thoughts revolve around you. I wish all the best in you from the bottom of my heart," wrote Pisarek as she shared a photo of her and Matsunaga hugging. "I love you my better half."

The two are currently soaking up the sun in Coron, Palawan.

Matsunaga met Pisarek, who is based in the US, when she was in the country for an advertising campaign. The actor has said that he doesn't mind having a long-distance relationship.

He said he is the "happiest" when he's with Pisarek, in his Instagram post last week of him kissing his model-girlfriend.
