MANILA — Actress Heart Evangelista on Thursday addressed fresh speculation that she and her husband, Sorsogon Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero, are expectant parents.
“Guys I’m pregnant with Bonchon chicken not pregnant pregnant,” Evangelista tweeted, referring to the popular Korean fast food chain.
Evangelista’s brief statement came days after a photo she shared on Instagram triggered rumors of her pregnancy.
In the photo, Evangelista is seen seated on Escudero’s lap, with the former senator’s arms around his wife. A detail many followers noticed was the placing of Escudero’s left hand.
“She might be pregnant from the way Chiz holds her tummy,” one fan wrote, with a smiling emoji.
Several other comments speculated similarly, with one saying, “May iniingatan si governor,” and another expressing excitement over the prospect of a “little Chiz.”
Evangelista, 34, once expected twins with Escudero but suffered miscarriages in mid-2018.
