MANILA – Luis Manzano confirmed that he is no longer part of the upcoming season of “Pilipinas Got Talent.”
Responding to some netizens, Manzano said he “opted out” to be one of the program’s hosts “for the betterment of the show.”
Replacing him as Billy Crawford’s co-host is Toni Gonzaga.
As proof that he’s in favor of Gonzaga taking over his place, Manzano said: “Ibang flavor ang dala ni Toni. Siyempre, Toni yan e.”
The auditions for the sixth season of “Pilipinas Got Talent” have already kicked off in Cebu.
Returning as judges are Vice Ganda, Robin Padilla, former ABS-CBN president Freddie M. Garcia, and Angel Locsin.
Locsin is Manzano's former girlfriend.
No other details about the new season of the ABS-CBN talent show were provided.
