MANILA -- Singer-actor Joao Constancia clarified the status of Boyband PH amid speculations that the group has disbanded.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Constancia stressed that BoybandPH is just taking a break.

"Right now we are just exploring, solo-solo muna kami. They are giving us the opportunity to explore what we want to do here in showbiz," Constancia said.

"Solo-solo muna kami. Kung anuman 'yung gusto naming gawin 'yon na muna. We are still thinking and we will see na lang what will happen," he added.

Boyband PH, composed of Ford Valencia, Niel Murillo, Russell Reyes, Tristan Ramirez and Constancia, was formed in December 2016 after winning the reality show "Pinoy Boyband Superstar."

Currently, Constancia is excited over his newest acting project. He is part of the upcoming iWant series "He's Into Her."
