A boy looking to help his father recover from a stroke; a viral video star from Davao; a "shy charmer" who wants to become more confident, and a tiny, half-British "prince" --these are the newest housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother" (PBB).

They were all picked this Saturday night during the first episode of the reality show's newest season, dubbed "PBB: Otso."

First introduced was Seth Fedelin, whose OFW father had to return home after suffering a stroke. The 16-year-old earned his spot as one of the housemates by winning a challenge.

Similarly, Aljon Mendoza, 17, also became part of the show after defeating three other "Star Dreamers." He considers himself extremely shy and joined "PBB" as a way to gain confidence.

Art Guma, who became a viral sensation when he uploaded a video of him saying 'hi miss' in a suave manner before screeching and freaking out, was picked by a "council" composed of past "PBB" housemates and winners. In his introduction video, Guma revealed that he was raised by a foster family.

The final, public vote-determined spot went to half-British kid Josh Worsley, "Ang Little Prince ng Davao." The youngest at 13, he shared that he was born in Dubai before his family moved to Samal.

In a bid to win over the public votes, he said that he'll do his best inside the house to follow the rules and meet new friends. He garnered 35%, five percent more than his closest rival.

Another four teen housemates will be revealed Sunday, this time from a pool of female aspirants.
