He may have been effective in playing gay roles, but Christian Bables says he's into women -- older, more mature women.

Bables, who earned nods at the Metro Manila Film Festival and the respected Gawad Urian, admitted in an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" that he "has a thing" for older women.

He said he was 22 when he had a relationship with a 38-year-old woman.

Now two years older, Bables said he still prefers older women. He clarified, however, that he is not actively looking for a partner right now.

"Hanggang tingin-tingin muna. Stalk lang," he said, while admitting that he has several crushes on Instagram.

According to Bables, he wants to help his mom stabilize their family business first. His mother runs a manpower and marketing services firm.

He also wants to help his mom in guiding his two younger brothers, aged 18 and 10.

Bables -- along with Kim Chiu, Matteo Guidicelli, Alice Dixson, and Ina Raymundo-- is starring in "The Ghost Bride."
