MANILA - Actress-host Pauleen Luna has given birth to "a bouncing baby girl," her husband, Vic Sotto, announced on Monday.

"Mayroon tayong bouncing baby girl. Umalis ako ng ospital, tumatalbog-talbog pa talaga," Sotto said in jest during the afternoon show "Eat Bulaga," which he co-hosts with Luna.

"Makamandag pa rin ako," he added.

Sotto also promised to share a photo of his baby with Luna in the coming days.

Luna first announced her pregnancy in March, more than a year after she and Sotto tied the knot.

They have been together for more than five years.

The baby girl is Luna's first child, and Sotto's fifth.

The host-comedian has a son named Vico with actress Coney Reyes, Oyo and Danica with Dina Bonnevie, and Paulina with Angela Luz.
