MANILA -- Nadine Lustre thanked everyone for making the recent Halloween (which also falls on her birthday) "super special again."

And no doubt part of the reason why she found it memorable was because of her boyfriend James Reid, who appeared to go out of his way to make her feel like a queen that night.

A video taken by their friend, photographer Andrei Suleik, and re-uploaded on fan accounts has been circulating online, and it showed Reid surprising his girlfriend with a fancy ride.

In the clip, Lustre, who was dressed as the flamboyant "Powerpuff Girls" villain HIM, could be seen visibly shocked as Reid stepped out of the vehicle and her friends greeting her a happy birthday.

It remains unclear whether Reid owns the white Ferrari 488 Spider, estimated to cost around P27 million, if he rented it, or if it was his gift to his girlfriend.

The couple was said to have rode the car to The Island PH in Taguig, where Lustre and Reid, along with other artists under their Careless Music Manila label, held a Halloween show.

Photos showed Reid joining Lustre onstage with a cake on hand as everyone greeted the actress for turning 25.
