MANILA -- Vic Sotto and his young wife, Pauleen Luna, have been busy attending social functions. Apparently, they are making the most out of their time together before Luna’s date with the stork come December.

Sotto and Luna attended the recent opening of the third solo painting exhibit of Sotto’s youngest daughter, Paulina Sotto-Llanes, at the Clipp Center in Taguig. The abstract paintings were created and inspired by Llanes’ grandfather, National Artist for Visual Arts Arturo Luz.

Llanes tied the knot January of this year with long-time boyfriend Jed Llanes at Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club in Batangas. The guy is a musician who used to perform with the Ateneo Blue Symphony Orchestra. He is also the great grandson of former president Diosdado Macapagal.

Sotto and Luna were also at the recent launch of PLDT Home at Shangri-La at the Fort. With them was Maru Sotto, the TV host-comedian’s older brother. Sotto is the newest brand ambassador of Sun Cellular, with Maja Salvador and Matteo Guidicelli.

The event was attended by PLDT Home celebrity ambassadors that included the Prats family (John Prats, his wife Isabel Oli and his sister Camille Prats), Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2016 Maxine Medina, celebrity mom Bettina Carlos, as well as actors Jericho Rosales and Franco Laurel, model Tweetie de Leon-Gonzales and theater actor Markki Stroem, who serenaded the guests with standards.

Sotto, who is 35 years Luna’s senior, announced last May that his wife was pregnant with their first baby. Luna is turning 29 this month. The comedian has four older children from his previous relationships, but is nonetheless excited and thankful for the coming of yet another addition to his family.

Danica and Oyo Boy are Sotto’s children with actress Dina Bonnevie. Vico is his son with actress-TV host Coney Reyes, while Paulina is Sotto’s daughter with former actress-model Angela Luz.

Early in October, Sotto and his wife threw a pastel-themed baby shower to anticipate the arrival of their baby girl. “Gusto ko, more babies to come,” said Sotto, who turned 63 last April.

By the time they celebrate their second wedding anniversary early next year – they tied the knot on January 30, 2016 – Sotto and Luna will have their new bundle of joy.

Meanwhile, Sotto will also be busy this December with his Metro Manila Film Festival entry, where he is paired anew with Dawn Zulueta in a fantasy-comedy flick directed by Tony Reyes.
