MANILA -- After appearing on "Ipaglaban Mo" and making her debut on the weekend sitcom "Home Sweetie Home," Rufa Mae Quinto finally confirmed that she is now a Kapamilya.

Speaking with Push, she described her move as "meant to be."

The comedienne-actress, who has long been associated with rival network, GMA-7, added that she was supposed to jump to ABS-CBN last year if not for her delicate pregnancy.

She gave birth just this February.

"Kinukuha na ako sa 'Home Sweetie' bilang yaya so hindi ko lang nagawa kasi buntis ako," she explained, adding that she was also supposed to join the last season of "Pinoy Big Brother."

Quinto took a hiatus from showbiz in 2015. In the years after, she married her Fiipino-American partner Trevor Magallanes and gave birth to their daughter, Alexandria Athena.
