MANILA -- James Reid confirmed that he and Sarah Geronimo will be starring in a Filipino remake of the hit 2014 Korean film "Miss Granny."
Reid made the confirmation in an interview on ASAP Chillout.
"I'm excited that soon we are going to have a movie together," Reid said.
"Have you seen the Zac Efron movie '17 Again'? It's like that," said Reid, who also shared that Geronimo will be playing his grandmother in the movie.
In the original South Korean movie, a woman in her '70s finds herself in the body of her 20-year-old self (played by Shim Eun-Kyun).
Asked if his girlfriend Nadine Lustre will also be part of the project, Reid said: "No, not in this movie but she will also have her own solo movie."
The actor said that he and Geronimo started shooting for the said film, which will hit cinemas before the year ends.
