MANILA - "Siya ay buhay na buhay," wrote comedienne Ai Ai delas Alas as the caption to a photo of her with Jiro Manio as she visited the former child actor at an undisclosed wellness facility Friday afternoon.

Manio began rehabilitation, with the help of Delas Alas, after being found homeless at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) back in July 2015. He was said to have been suffering from repeated bouts of depression.

Among the triggering reasons, according to his foster father, was the broken promise of his grandmother to take him to Japan and meet his biological father.

In another post, Delas Alas shared a clip of Manio taking up dance classes inside the facility as part of his rehab process. "Nung nakita niya ako, sobrang umaliwalas ang face ni Jiro," she said.

Following the NAIA incident, Delas Alas has vowed to help nurse the former "Magnifico" star back to health. At one point, she flew to Japan in an attempt to reunite Manio with his Japanese father who, unfortunately, does not want to talk to his son, citing family infighting as the reason.

According to Manio, he wants to start acting again once he is done with his rehabilitation. "Sa palagay ko naman, pag kaharap ko na ang mga tao, ano na ako ulit -- back to normal na ulit 'yung sitwasyon, kumbaga, na ganun pa din 'yung pagiging professional ko dati," he said.

Manio, who first underwent rehabilitation for drug addiction back in 2008, entered a facility for a second time at the request of Delas Alas. He was released following a six-month stay, but re-entered the same facility early this year.
