MANILA – “Surprise.”

This was Maja Salvador’s answer when asked directly if there is even a slightest chance that she would return to “Ang Probinsyano” two months after she left the show.

Salvador was one of the original cast members of the series. She played the role of female police officer Glen, who was earlier billed as the love interest of Cardo (Coco Martin) but was later paired with John Prats.

In the series, Glen bid farewell to Cardo and the others as she returned to her hometown in Botolan, Zambales to take care of her ailing mother.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News and other reporters last Saturday, Salvador said she is just happy to be reunited with the cast and crew of the show during its anniversary concert held at the Araneta Coliseum.

“Siyempre masaya din naman po ako dahil 10 months din akong nag-taping at lumabas sa ‘Probinsyano.’ Masarap sa pakiramdam na makita ko po silang lahat,” she said.

In a separate interview, Martin said he is hoping Salvador would return to the show.

“Actually, honestly, sabi nga namin, nagkaproblema lang naman kay Maj because of 'yung schedule niya. Ang dami niya kasing schedule na abroad. Sana, sana, sana dumating 'yung point na maayos ulit 'yun and then makapagsama-sama kami ulit,” he said.

Nonetheless, Martin said there are still a lot of things that viewers can expect from “Ang Probinsyano” in the coming days.

“Marami pa silang dapat abangan sa 'Probinsyano.' Siguro hindi ko muna mare-reveal ngayon kung anong mangyayari,” he said.

“Ang Probinsyano” airs on ABS-CBN from Monday to Friday after “TV Patrol.”
