MANILA -- His latest movie, starring Aga Muhlach and Bea Alonzo, is titled "First Love."

So it was just appropriate that when the movie had its press conference last Monday, its director Paul Soriano was asked who his first love is.

His answer? His wife, Kapamilya star Toni Gonzaga.

"My first love is my wife," he said. "Because it's the moment I knew she was my last when I said 'I do' and I said, 'I'd spend the rest of my life with you.' She's my first love."

And after three years of being married, Soriano said he is now experiencing a different kind of love.

"Now I am able, through her, to experience a love like I've never experienced before through my son, Seve. It's beautiful," Soriano said.

Soriano and Gonzaga were married in June 2015. They have one son, Severiano Elliott or Seve, who just turned 2 last September.
