James Reid and Nancy of Momoland are teaming up for an ABS-CBN teleserye to be directed by Antoinette Jadaone. ABS-CBN News
James Reid was admittedly starstruck with his new leading lady, Nancy of Momoland, while the latter described the Kapamilya actor as “sweet” as they exchanged first impressions on Friday.
“I have to be honest — a little bit starstruck, of course, but I’m super excited to work with her,” Reid said.
Nancy, meanwhile, said of Reid: “He’s super nice, super sweet, awesome!”
The two met for the first time Friday during the media announcement of their upcoming teleserye collaboration, “Soulmate,” a production of ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape to be directed by Antoinette Jadaone.
It marks Nancy’s first major acting project both here and in South Korea, where her girl group rose to fame before dominating airwaves in the Philippines with hits like “Bboom Bboom” and “BAAM.”
