MANILA - It was one of the most controversial moments during Rita Gabiola's short stint inside the "Pinoy Big Brother" house. While washing dishes, her fellow housemates began playing with one of her garments. Feeling embarrassed, Rita swiped her bra strap back and walked away without saying a word.

Many criticized the other housemates for teasing Rita, who was suddenly thrust into the limelight after a photo of her went viral online. But did Rita herself felt bullied? "Hindi ko po alam kung na-bully o nag-react lang," she replied when asked on the topic during her guest appearance on "Tonight with Boy Abunda," days after being evicted.

"Kasi ako, hindi ko naman alam na strap pala ng bra ko iyon kasi naghuhugas po ako ng mga plato, iyong pinagkainan namin. Iyong mga babae at lalaki ay nandoroon, at hindi ko alam kung akin iyong [bra]," she explained.

"Tahimik lang ako sa paghuhugas tapos bigla kong kinuha nang wala akong sinasabi. Parang nahiya po kasi ako sa mga boys kasi strap po ng bra ko iyong pinaglalaruan."

Rita was evicted from the "PBB" house last Saturday after garnering the least amount of points during a challenge given to the nominated housemates, which included Heaven Peralejo, Kristine Hammond, and Christian Morones.

Nevertheless, Rita remains grateful for the opportunity given to her. "Sinabi sa akin ni Kuya na lagi akong dapat masaya, lagi akong dapat matapang, huwag lang mahiyain, nakasimangot, tampuhin," she said, sharing the lessons she learned from joining the reality show.

Rita added that she wants to continue to pursue her dream of becoming an actress, even as she strives to finish her studies.

"Pangarap ko pong maging artista pero gusto ko po siyang pagsabayin sa pag-aaral ko. Para habang nag-aaral ako ay natutulungan ko na rin po iyong mga magulang ko," she said.
