MANILA -- Minzy, formerly of the top South Korean girl group 2NE1, will perform at the opening of this year's UAAP season at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay this Saturday.

The singer joins a lineup of artists that includes James Reid and Spongecola for the ceremony, scheduled just ahead of the opening game between the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons and the University of the East Red Warriors.
