MANILA (UPDATED)—Veteran boy groups EXO and Xeno-T will join newcomers in the South Korean music scene as they come to Manila for the music program "Show Champion."

Promoter All Access Productions revealed on Thursday that "Show Champion" is set to be staged at the Mall of Asia Arena on October 28.

EXO, one of the top male acts in K-pop, will return to the country just months after staging their "Elyxion" concert last April.

For "Show Champion," EXO will be joined by Xeno-T, and rookie acts The Boyz, Weki Meki, MXM and Hyeongseop X Euiwoong.

Xeno-T is a five-member group that debuted in 2013 under the name Topp Dogg.

The Boyz is a 12-member boy group under Cre.ker Entertainment while Weki Meki is an eight-member girl group under Fantagio Music.

MXM is a duo under Brand New Music comprised of Im Young-min and Kim Dong-hyun, while Hyeongseop X Euiwoong under Yuehua Entertainment include Ahn Hyeong-seop and Lee Eui-woong.

Filipino fans of the highly popular survival program "Produce 101" will have something to look forward to as most of the artists were past participants of the show.

Young-min, Dong-hyun, Hyeong-seop, Eui-woong and The Boyz's Ju Hak-nyeon competed in the second season of "Produce 101."

Kim Do-yeon and Choi Yoo-jung of Weki Meki, on the other hand, ranked in the top 11 of the first "Produce 101" in 2016 and debuted in the temporary girl group I.O.I.

Weki Meki's Sei (Lee Seo-jeong) and Elly (Jung Hae-rim) were also participants in the first "Produce 101."

A ticket pre-selling will be held on September 16 at the SM North Skydome.

"Show Champion" airs every Wednesday on music channel MBC Music, and is hosted by South Korean radio and TV personality Kim Shinyoung.

The upcoming show will also mark the second time the program visited Manila after it did so in 2016 for its 200th episode. Among the performers then were groups BTS, VIXX, Astro, AOA and Gugudan.
